Running Your First Scan

Starting a Scan

1. Go to your Projects page
2. Click on the project you want to scan
3. Click the Run Scan button

The scan will begin immediately and you will see a progress indicator.

What Happens During a Scan

1. Crawling: We find pages on your site by following links
2. Loading: Each page is fully loaded including JavaScript
3. Testing: We run hundreds of accessibility checks on each page
4. Reporting: Issues are categorized and saved to your dashboard

Scan Time

A typical 25-page website takes 2-5 minutes to scan. Duration depends on number of pages, page complexity, and your plan.

After the Scan

You will see:

• Overall Score: A grade from A to F
• Issue Count: Total accessibility issues found
• Issue Breakdown: Issues grouped by severity (Critical, Serious, Moderate, Minor)

Click on any issue to see details and learn how to fix it.
